Archives for category: Homewares

First things first: big apology for the ridiculously long gap between blog posts. To anyone out there who might still be checking in – I’m sorry! My little laptop has not allowed me to update Silverlight (whatever that is) and without it I haven’t been able to access my own WordPress page for ages. Today, after two shutdowns and some serious cussing, we finally got there! So the Frond blog makes its 2012 comeback with these treasures from the Mod Collective – beautiful, non?

Frond continues to update weekly over at facebook but for those of you who prefer a facebook-free zone, thanks for checking in here! xx

The new range of homewares and jewellery from Melbourne duo Angus & Celeste is casting its beautiful spell over the store as I type. Sigh… xx

A dazzling display of florals by Saskia Havekes in Dinosaur Designs vases – beautiful. From the current issue of InStyle mag.

Delilah Devine’s flying ducks and galloping ponies have fluttered and cantered all the way north from chilly South Australia for some tropical sunshine and we’re so glad they’ve made the trip! A charming play on the classic Beswick flying ducks of the 50s and 60s, these laser cut lovelies are made from eco-ply and vintage print wall paper and come in a cute box complete with wall-safe adhesive velcro tabs. Head over to www.facebook.com/frondstore for more pics!

Fresh new Dinosaur Designs in store now. Yum.

I’ve managed to nab a small final selection of Kim Wallace’s beautiful lace dishes before she closes up the wonderful Udessi studio and heads home to the Netherlands for a while. Her wonderful range has such a strong Frond following and these charming pieces will be much missed. Also in store is a collection of her sweet lace “heart” ornaments which Kim originally sold through her site to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Frond is happy to continue this lovely gesture of support by donating 50% of all lace heart sales to the Foundation.

Sharon Muir’s bird vessels and trinket boxes are sheer delight!

How gorgeous are these ceramic pieces from Amorelita Designs! The “chalky” bowls and cups are perfect for keeping the peace at a busy breakfast time and the sweet dimpled “comfy” cups will make you never want to let go of your frothy coffee or fragrant tea!

Only 5 sleeps to go…

Poppies for Grace Christmas tags, Kirstin Ash hummingbird pendant, Kim Wallace large lace dish, Dinosaur Designs drip drop vase, Angus & Celeste bottle vase, Materialistic Lovely tote. Come and get ‘em.

Jennifer Berney’s beautiful cotton/hemp, hand printed cushions for Formosa Design feature sweet wrens and delicate eucalypts. This is kitsch-free Australiana – whimsical, stylish, elegant. Lay your head down or pop your feet up on one of these plump gems with a Tim Winton or a Kate Grenville and a glass of something from the Margaret River – perfect for the Boxing Day aftermath or a quiet Chrissy Eve.
